	Evangelism at CU is headed up by Simon Lovell and encompasses many different things. We are currently running a Student Alpha course at the University for people who want to find out more about Christianity. This takes place every Monday. If you want to find out more about the opportunities for evangelism in the CU or have questions about what it involves, please contact Simon.

Alpha is a course for people who want to find out more about Jesus, have questions about Christianity or just want a bit of a chat. We meet at 8:00 on Monday nights in AF33 and would love to see you there

The Lighthouse

The Lighthouse is a project run by Canterbury Baptist Church as “a safe haven in the heart of the city” aimed at ministering to the needs of people who have gone out in the evening and who want to chat, have tea and toast as well as a warm place to sober up. The Lighthouse is open every Wednesday from midnight til 3:00am. If you want to help out then feel free to come along on Wednesday evening at 12:00.
